The Reporting Lead will analyse the outcome of the global process and localisation workshops, map all reporting requirements to standard Workday reports and reporting tools, and create the overall approach for the utilisation of Workday reports using standard Workday reporting tools.

Job Description: 

Role Overview

The HR Reporting Lead for the Workday Functional Solution will serve as the focal point for all reporting requirements created during the design and implementation phase of Workday. The Reporting Lead will analyse the outcome of the global process and localisation workshops, map all reporting requirements to standard Workday reports and reporting tools, and create the overall approach for the utilisation of Workday reports and the creation of specific reports and dashboards using standard Workday reporting tools.The role will involve significant interaction with the Workday programme workstreams, particularly the global process owners and solution owners, but also interaction with HR and business leaders to ensure that the reporting solutions meet the wider business requirements and drive business value.

Specific Accountabilities

Manage the gathering of all requirements related to HR reporting within the scope of the Workday solution
*

Participate in the process workshops and provide expertise in the area of reporting in order to ensure that Workday's real time reporting and analytics capability is fully leveraged
*

Establish project and resource plans for the delivery of the required reports
*

Leverage and lead the reporting / solution analysts to ensure that the required reports are created, delivered and tested as per overall plan
*

Create a framework for standard report development including the definition of the post go-live model and associated capabilities
*

Define and provide education services to the BP community on Workday reporting and input to the overall training, adoption and change plan
*

Broker tool-related issue resolution, liaising with the SI partner and Workday as appropriate
*

Work closely with the integration workstream and ensure that "simple" integration requirements are met via the provision of data extraction reports
*

Follow PMO processes and produce required project artefacts and reports related to the Reporting workstream

Who we're looking for: 

Skills and Experiences

Essential knowledge, experience & expertise:

5+ years of progressive experience in Workday configuration, implementation or operation in a leadership capacity

5+ years HRIS or Advanced Reporting experience, Experience providing technology solutions to global HR organizations, Reporting / MI operational delivery experience e.g. MI Team Lead, preferably in the HR domain, WD Reporting functionality (creating, modifying, maintaining reports), configuration skills and systems troubleshooting,In depth knowledge of the Workday business object model and building/maintaining calculated fields,Experienced with Workday domain security and able to troubleshoot/enable/control report access for select populations,Certification or education in data privacy/protection preferred,Advanced Excel experience required,Advanced technical experience in one or more of the following are,: Workday, SQL, Visual Basic, PowerPivot,Experience in one or more of the following reporting technologies: Workday, OBIEE, Tableau, MS Power BI,Functional knowledge of the Workday system and/or basic knowledge of Workday Business Processes, Organizations, EIB, Calculated fields, XML and XSLT are strongly desired skills,Strong knowledge of technology trends and ability to keep informed about leading edge technologies and their application to HR and HR systems.
