Finance Manager / East Sussex / Retail, FMCG
Other responsibilities include:
*Developing and delivering high quality weekly, monthly and annual management information
*Ensuring all control accounts, ledgers, bank accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and all variances are resolved
*Establish and maintain effective controls, processes and systems
*Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts including KPIs, cash flow forecasts and banking covenants
*Management of payroll and related HR demands
*Management of all taxation; VAT, PAYE, NIC, Corporation Tax
*Manage the audit and year-end timetable
*Return on capital evaluation for new sites - financial modelling
*To assist the MD in evaluating new business opportunities as required and offering commercial input to strategic decisions
This role will suit an ambitious, 'hands on' and self motivated individual, with previous experience of working in a similar role. Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills are a must together with the ability to improve financial processes. Outstanding communication skills are also essential along with experience of successfully managing small finance teams.
Any experience of working in a multi-site environment will prove to be highly beneficial.

This is a pivotal role for the company and some of the key responsibilities include leading a small finance team in supplying regular and accurate financial information, and interacting with other areas of the business to assist in the provision of answers to financial queries, whilst ensuring credible financial support is provided.
